Last time we talked about how to do customer service well. Today I want to touch on what it can do for you and your business. It can be easy to overlook how truly important the tool of customer service is but taking the time to implement this into your business will be well worth it! Your level of customer service and how you interact with others truly does make all the difference in how people see your business.

There are some great customer service training videos on YouTube! Here is one for you to check out: The 5 Most Important Steps to Better Customer Service. There are many more great videos on YouTube you can check out as well by going to www.youtube.com and typing in customer service in the search bar.

Customer service may not always come naturally to people, but it certainly is a skill that can be taught and learned. It is truly an important tool for your business. When you visit any establishment, or work with a business of any kind, I bet that your interactions influenced how you saw that business, and the same can be said about how people view your business as well!

A positive interaction versus a negative interaction will 100% influence whether a potential client/customer wants to work with your business, and we want to win their business, right?! We can easily take advantage of this reality by taking the time to learn more about this crucial business tool, as well as making sure that our teams are on the same page about the level of customer service we want to deliver!

There are also amazing benefits when it comes to implementing this tool into your business! A few of these are repeat business, as well as new business through referrals from previous customers/clients. I bet if you have had a great experience somewhere, not only did you want to go back to that establishment, but you probably also wanted to tell everyone about it. If someone has a great experience, they are going to want to share that with others, which opens doors of opportunity for your business! This in turn ends up being a great marketing tool as well, because if people feel like they walked away with a positive experience and then go and share that with others, that gets your business out there!

Basically, there are no negatives to learning this tool! It only propels your business further! This is a tool that is worth investing in. And, if you have a team that works with you, I encourage you to come up with a plan for the level of customer service you want to deliver and what you want that delivery to look like, and then share that with your team so that everyone can be on the same page! That way, no matter what member of your team customers/clients interact with, you can be assured that they are receiving top notch customer service!
