Processes are often simple in startups and small businesses, but it can be hard for the same person to manage all tasks. This means you need an onboarding checklist as well! That way they don’t have too much time on their hands when dealing with your company’s new process flow because these checklists take up less space than manually tracking every little thing that needs done.

The employee onboarding process has many stages that depend on the organization. However, these broadly defined steps are common across most companies and can be thought of as a series of tasks usually carried out in order.

Step 1: Preparation

One of the first steps in onboarding a new joiner is to prepare for your meeting. This includes scheduling and planning what you’ll be doing with representatives from HR, Administration (Admin), L&D – pretty much any department that might have something they need from us as employees or volunteers!

In this case we’re talking about getting ready beforehand so there isn’t anything left behind when it’s time go through certain tasks during our introduction period which can include everything form filling out forms at different stations around campus; having group discussions led by upper-level members who are experts on various topics within their field while learning how each other operates inside collaborate well under pressure situations

Step 2: Orientation

During their first week, you walk new joinees through workplace policies and help them with paperwork. Taking time to walk your new employee through the company’s tools, resources, protocols, standard operating procedures etc,… will pay you dividends in the end. Don’t skip this step. Remember, what may seem obvious to you is likely not so obvious to your new addition.

Step 3: Integration

New employees are introduced to their team during integration. They’ll learn about the work they will be doing, as well as how it feels in general within this organization’s culture/atmosphere when everyone is working together for one common goal – making sure that every customer has what he or she needs!

Step 4: Engagement

Finally, new joinees go from fresh-faced newcomers to experienced employees. At this stage they’ve started building working relationships with their teammates and are prepared to contribute meaningfully towards the organization’s short-term goals as well on a long term basis.

Step 5: Follow-Up

Engagement is a key to the success of any new employee. The company will engage with them through regular follow-ups and also make sure they know about all future opportunities for growth within your organization!
When it comes to getting new hires up-to-speed, the first few weeks are critical. It’s all about onboarding them with your company culture and making sure they know what is expected of them at their job. One way you can take your employee onboarding checklists to the next level is by giving them the gift of being organized and prepared for their arrival.
